Dance Soundset
for Q and microQ

The demo songs have been created only with a Sampler (Akai S5000) using a Lexicon MPX1 reverb and the Roland SDE 330 Spacedelay. No compressor or finalizer has been used. All sounds are from our MicroQ CD, except the drumloop and basedrum in "Clubhopper" is taken from our "UltraBeatz" CD. ("Lavalamp" uses the mQs drums and percussions of the sampling CD - check them out ;-)

The single sound demos have been recorded plain - without any effects.

We must admit that it is impossible to create a perfect image of the Q or microQ with a sampler. The filters work totally different and the flexibility of the original is hard to reproduce with a simple sampler. We tried to keep the full spectrum of the unfiltered sounds, opening the filters as much as possible to be able to reproduce a good filter behaviour with the sampler. Now you can use your samplers filter to get close to the original! The Akai version of the CD contains velocity and LFO controlled filter behaviours for all programms. These sounds do not sound like samples - they are alive!

Mixedmode CD: 350 MB wav files + 350 MB audio tracks
